About SRKSM

“Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal (SRKSM)” is a registered society and a public trust and was established in the year 1945-54. The trust was setup under the able leadership of Late Shri Gordhanbhai Patel popularly and respectfully known as ‘Vakil Saheb’ and with whole hearted co-operation of the prominent citizens and leading industrialists of this area not only an educational trust providing institutes from primary to research level education, but it also had a strong medical and socioeconomic implication for surrounding rural area, as a multidimensional experiment, adverting various socio-economic problems and its implication.

Shri Gordhanbhai Patel, adorably called Vakil Saheb and Shri Natvarlal Dave, the founder trustees of the Mandal, shared the most popular view that development of an independent India and its villages can be affected only through properly trained individuals. Hence establishing an academic institute was a top priority. In this context, Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal in March 1963 pioneered to establish Anand Arts College. This development marked the birth of the First college of Anand. Slowly and steadily, various institutions beginning from kindergarten to graduate and post – graduate courses were launched, making progress under the flag of Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal.

At present, Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal is managing about 27 academic institutes from K.G. to P.G. schools of excellence by effectively and efficiently maintaining pace with the ever-changing needs of modern educational environment.

The Honorary Secretary, Mrs. Jyotsnaben K. Patel is a source of inspiration by itself and her ever readiness to help by providing dynamic leadership acts as a stimulating force for the growth and development.

The trustee, Shri Kiritbhai J. Patel is actively involved in the growth and development of the organization in general and initiative in particular and we believe that under his noble and dynamic leadership the vision of the institute can best be achieved.

The reputation of Shri RKSM has spread far and wide over the past fifty years on account of the selfless service and dedication to the cause of educational and commitment to the motto. Consequently, students from Anand and surrounding villages are benefitted from it. Even students from all over Gujarat are attracted to enrol at SRKSM’s institutes on account of the unique approach adopted by the functionaries. At present, nearly 9000 students pursue their studies at various institutes on this campus. The office bearers are sensitive enough to the needs of modern educational environment and hence very good infrastructure is set up to promote qualitative education.
